A day in my life as a journalism student
Hello, welcome back to my blog this is going to be about the things I get up to in a typical day. If you read the 5 things that I achieved in October you would know that the last few months or so have met with some big life changes, I moved into university and away from home. If you read my morning routine blog/ my nighttime routine blog then you probably have a good idea of how my day goes however nevertheless l I still decided to follow up with a day in my life post.
6:00 am-10:00am -WAKE UP (& START THE DAY )
I am an early bird I typically wake up around 6:00 am -7:15 am each morning. Depending on my mood and energy level, I either get out of bed and start my day or chill for a bit I like to spend this time checking my emails, texts, and watch YouTube videos. I typically get ready for the day around 7:30 am I start my day by going into the bathroom to brush my teeth wash my face and shower. Depending on the day this can take about 30 minutes to 1 hour after I get out of off, showers the next step of the day is my skincare routine. Around this time, I normally eat breakfast check out my blog on cool breakfast ideas.

If you read my night-time routine blog, then you would know that my outfit is normally chosen the day before. (However, since all my lectures are online, I normally wear lounge clothes since people only see my face.) After putting on my clothes I head into the bathroom for hair and makeup. Most days I complete this step in about 20 minutes or less. I typically wear light makeup however it does depend on the day and the occasion normally I do not spend too long getting ready. This morning I also did the laundry.

.

12:00pm -1:00pm- Lunch
If you read my blog then you would know Around this time, I like to eat lunch sometimes might overrun so I will eat lunch later, but I always eat lunch.

2:00pm-4:00pm – go to the gym
Every other day before locked I used to enjoy going to the gym, I only started going to the gym about a month ago. The gym is a part of my university and 5 minutes away from my accommodation. Which means I do not have to change unless I am going swimming or something. The length of time I spend at the gym varies depending on my energy level, but I usually stay for about 1-2 hours at the gym. Below is the result of my efforts.

4:30pm-5:00pm – Study or lecture
After I change out of my gym clothes and shower, I normally spend this time studying or blogging. As a student, I need to stay up to date with my studies. As a blogger, I need to stay up to date with my website. But today I had an audio lesson.
6:00pm – 8:pm- Relaxing
I normally spend this time relaxing since I do not have that much to do. Today I was playing around with this face steamer that I bought a while ago.
7:00pm- 9:00pm- Make Dinner
Around this time, I head into the kitchen to cook dinner. As I mentioned before I really enjoy cooking. I try to cook a different meal each day however sometimes I do eat leftovers. As I mentioned in my night-time routine blog, I normally use this time to make my lunch for the next day too. After I eat, I normally clean up after myself since I am living in shared accommodation, I like to keep it clean. Tonight I went out to a Korean restaurant.

9:00pm-10:00pm – Bedtime
Some nights I change into proper pyjamas, but most nights I stay in my comfy lounge clothes. I always wash my face and brush my teeth and do my skincare routine. By 10:15 pm or 10:30 pm, I am usually in bed. At this point, I typically require between 30 minutes and an hour of wind-down time before I am ready to fall asleep. This usually includes a Netflix episode or two in the background. This may include hate watching Emily in Paris. At some point, I will end up falling asleep.
